Lamees Tantoush

Lamees Tantoush has been part of MATAB for Youth since its very beginning in 2022 and currently serves as the Events Director. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Honours Health Sciences from McMaster University and a graduate diploma in Pharmaceutical Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance. With this strong academic foundation and experience in healthcare and community service, Lamees brings both knowledge and heart to her role.

For Lamees, being Events Director is more than planning programs. It is a responsibility she cherishes as a way to create spaces where youth feel truly seen, supported, and connected. She believes that meaningful events can leave a lasting impact by fostering belonging, strengthening faith, and building confidence. Each program she helps design is guided by the hope that it will encourage young people to embrace their potential and step into leadership with resilience and purpose. Outside of MATAB, Lamees finds renewal in walking, hiking, and playing tennis, activities that remind her of balance, perseverance, and the joy of growth.
